Hello World — From Factory Floors to Code Editors
Hello World
For the past ten years, I've been building things — cement plants, infrastructure, supply chains, teams. I've managed hundreds of people across multiple countries and led companies from the ground up.
Then one day, I opened a code editor.
Why Code
I spent my career optimizing systems, eliminating waste, and solving problems nobody thought were problems. Coding turned out to be the same thing — just on a screen instead of a factory floor.
The transition wasn't a leap. It was a natural next step. The same instinct that made me ask "why is this acceptable?" at a tobacco factory now makes me ask "why does this component re-render twice?"
Why This Blog
I've always believed that writing is thinking made visible. When you explain something, you understand it better. This blog is my way of learning in public — sharing what I build, what breaks, and what I figure out along the way.
What to Expect
- Project stories — Behind the scenes of what I'm building
- Things I learned — From engineering, from code, from life
- Honest reflections — Not tutorials pretending to have all the answers
Let's Connect
If you want to talk about building things — whether with concrete or with code — reach out through the contact page or find me on LinkedIn.
This is chapter one. More to come.
